What is an Invisible Character?

An invisible character is a Unicode code point that takes up space or counts as text but renders nothing on screen. The most common ones are the zero-width space (U+200B), the Hangul filler (U+3164), and the braille blank pattern (U+2800). Because most apps treat them as real characters, you can paste them into fields that normally reject an empty value.

This tool copies a genuine invisible character to your clipboard with one click. There is no hidden image or trick, just the raw Unicode character, so it works the same way everywhere your keyboard does.

  • Copy a true zero-width or blank Unicode character instantly
  • Pick from several invisible characters for different apps
  • Choose how many copies to generate at once
  • Works in usernames, bios, captions, and messages
  • Nothing is uploaded - the character is generated in your browser
  • Paste anywhere your device accepts text input

Where people use invisible characters

The most common uses are sending a blank message on chat apps, setting an empty name or nickname in games like Free Fire and PUBG, leaving an apparently empty bio on Instagram or TikTok, and adding spacing where an app trims normal spaces. Designers also use them to align text or to stop a platform from collapsing leading and trailing spaces.

Why a normal space does not work

Most platforms strip a regular space (U+0020) from the start and end of input, and many reject a field that contains only spaces. A zero-width or blank Unicode character is treated as visible content by the validation check but still shows nothing, so the field passes as non-empty while appearing blank.

Will it work on every app?

Most apps accept invisible characters, but a few sanitize input and remove them. If one character does not work, try a different one from the list. The Hangul filler (U+3164) and braille blank (U+2800) tend to survive in more places than the zero-width space because they are categorized as letters rather than spaces.

الأسئلة الشائعة

What is the most reliable invisible character?
The Hangul filler (U+3164) and the braille blank pattern (U+2800) work in the widest range of apps because they are treated as letter characters rather than spaces, so fewer platforms strip them out.
How do I send a blank message?
Copy an invisible character with this tool, paste it into the message box, and send. The chat shows an empty bubble because the character renders nothing.
Can I use this for a blank name in Free Fire or PUBG?
Yes. Copy the invisible character and paste it into the name field. If the game rejects it, try another character from the list since each game validates input differently.
Is the invisible character actually empty?
No. It is a real Unicode character that simply has no visible glyph. It still takes up a position in the text and counts toward character limits.
Does copying an invisible character send my data anywhere?
No. The character is generated and copied entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Why does my pasted character sometimes disappear?
Some apps clean up input and remove zero-width characters. When that happens, switch to a different invisible character that the app does not filter.
